Hawk Superdeals is a Windows desktop application that tracks product prices and
highlights genuine discounts. This policy explains what it does and does not do
with your information.
## Summary
Hawk Superdeals does not collect, transmit, or sell personal information. It has no
user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising SDKs. Everything it stores stays
on your own PC.
## What is stored on your device
The app writes the following to your local application data folder
(`%APPDATA%\HawkSuperdeals`):
- **Price history** — prices of products displayed in the app, recorded by date,
so the app can tell a genuine price drop from an inflated discount claim.
- **Your watchlist** — products you choose to save.
- **Price alerts** — drops the app has detected on saved products.
- **Settings** — your display preferences (currency, language).
This data never leaves your computer. You can delete it at any time by removing
the `%APPDATA%\HawkSuperdeals` folder, or by using **Clear** in the Alerts view.
## Network requests
To show current products and prices, the app requests product data from the
AliExpress affiliate API. These requests contain only the search terms, category
or product identifiers needed to return results. They do not contain your name,
email address, location, or any account information — the app does not have any
of these.
## Opening products in your browser
When you choose to view a product, it opens in your default web browser on the
retailer's own website. From that point the retailer's privacy policy applies to
your activity, not this one. Hawk Superdeals does not process payments and never
receives your payment or account details.
## Children
Hawk Superdeals is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any
information from them.
## Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address
with an updated date.
